To get a domain you need to go to your desired registrar, in this case we are going to use
Squarespace.
To start, access your account and go to Product – Find a Domain:
Now, type the domain you want to purchase so you can check if it is available or not:
Now you can see the available options and select the one you want to purchase:
After selecting the domain, you need to follow the steps to purchase it and you will get an email confirmation with your purchase details.
*Note: you pay for one to multiple year plans, when the period ends, you need to renew the domain registration, if you don’t do that you will loose the domain ownership (you can set an auto-renew option so you will never miss the period)
