Export Joomla! Backups (Akeeba Backup)

If you have the Akeeba Backup plugin installed, you need to access the main panel, find the Components tab, and select Akeeba Backup.

Once inside the Akeeba control panel, select the “Backup Now” option.

Next, some configuration options will appear. It is recommended to leave the Active Profile set to Default. The description can be modified if necessary, or you can simply leave the default date of the day the backup is being made. Finally, you can add a comment, but it is not necessary. After verifying the above, select the Backup Now! option again.

After this, the elements and everything related to the website, such as plugins, images, videos, typography, etc., will be loaded. Finally, select the Manage Backups option, and a zip file will be downloaded. You can use this zip file to migrate the website, run tests on the site without risking affecting it, or simply keep it as a precaution.
